So, a lot of you have been asking me for the recipe for the post work out smoothie I posted this morning. This almond and banana protein smoothie takes no time at all to whizz up and keeps me full till lunch time.
1 medium size ripe banana
100ml unsweetened almond milk
5ml almond essence
1 scoop of un flavoured whey protein (I use this Pink Sun one)
1 handful of ice cubes
Sprinkling of cinnamon to finish
Place all the ingredients in a blender (I use my trusty nutribullet) then blend for 1/2mins until the pats are fully blended.
Pour into a glass or shaker cup, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
