My approach to teaching yoga ...
I feel passionate about sharing yoga with others and truly believe yoga is for every body which is why I strive to make my classes accessible and welcoming to all.
I feel strongly about the healing power of yoga and have personally experienced the transformative effect that a regular yoga practice can have on one's life.
I came to yoga as a way of dealing with the stress of my busy job as a human rights lawyer. Although yoga was undoubtedly a valuable physical practice for me and that time (and it certainly helped me undo some of the damage caused by sitting at a desk all hours of the day) it was the marked impact it had on my mood and stress levels that kept me coming back. This experience has guided my teaching and I'm careful to try and balance the physical and non-physical aspects of yoga in my classes.
Vinyasa Flow & Hot Vinyasa Flow @ Fitness Space Hackney, Bloomsbury & Wapping

I teach regular mixed-ability classes at Fitness Space, a boutique gym and hot yoga studio. In addition to cover classes, I teach two regular weekly classes, one of which I have built up from being a brand new class on the timetable, to being fully booked in a matter of months.
Hatha Yoga @ Our Parks
May 2017 - Present
I teach outdoor, mixed-level classes during the summer months (April - October). Many of the students at these classes are completely new to yoga. I teach once a week in Wapping, as well as cover classes in parks throughout East London.
Hatha & Yin @ Banteay Srey Project, Cambodia

I volunteered at this social enterprise project in Cambodia, teaching a minimum of 2 classes a day in a variety of styles. During my time at Banteay Srey, I taught classes for the staff and a mixed-level public class, as well as volunteer classes at a local school for deaf children.

500hr Yoga Teacher Training @ Yoga London
December 2018 - Ongoing
I recently decided to undertake my 500hrs qualification in order to further advance my knowledge and skills. I am enrolled in the 500hr course at Yoga London, which teaches in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style. As well as the core units in anatomy, philosophy, and asana, I am completing a number of smaller courses covering a range of topics, such as yoga for sports and inclusive sequencing.
Aerial Yoga Teacher Training @ Flying Fantastic + Grace & Gravity
This comprehensive aerial yoga teacher training course enables qualified yoga teachers to teach this exciting and dynamic form of yoga. The course covered teaching all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students with prior aerial experience.
Yin Yoga Teacher Training @ 5 Elements Yoga School, Poland
This 50hr qualification covered all the Yin postures and counterposes, as well as comprehensive lectures on fascia and anatomy and the meridians.
200hr Yoga Teacher Training @ Shiva Shakti Yoga, India

This intensive residential course was based on traditional hatha yoga. The course covered anatomy, Hatha asana,philosophy, meditation and the Shat Kriyas.
I enjoy creating interesting and challenging flows that gradually build in intensity and complexity.
My original 200hr training was in Hatha yoga and I have taught this style regularly.
I find that Yin is the ideal antidote to our busy Western lives, and I enjoy the different, yet still challenging, nature of a practice that involves a lot of stillness.
Aerial is an exciting and playful take on yoga and, despite appearances, is actually a very accessible style for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
I came to Eloise to practice yoga to manage my stress, become more confident, and work on my concentration. My yoga sessions with Eloise have 100% helped me reach my goals and I am definitely less stressed! I have learned new postures, including being able to do some sun salutations by myself, and I have a much better understanding of my body. I definitely recommend Eloise for people who want to de-stress and have a lack of self-confidence.
